Renaissance Brewing Company Elemental Porter
Enthusiasm alert: This is one of the NICEST beers I've tried for a long time! All the way from New Zealand (where it is doubtless enjoyed in Hobbiton haha) this Renaissance Brewing Company Elemental Porter has a wonderful nose and rich, full flavour without being over thick. There's an unexpected and lovely fruity tartness in between rich, malty chocolate notes and perfectly balanced hops. Seriously, this would be my desert island beer. It's very rich, so you could probably only drink one, *maybe* two at a time, but heck you'd enjoy it to the max and at 6.1% it's not going to hit you too hard. Probably the best porter in the world. Very Highly Recommended!
