Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale

Here's my latest beer discovery, all the way from Lexington, Kentucky, America. Now this beer tastes quite familiar to me, being not dissimilar to Innis & Gunn, another one of my favorites, but in this case they sensibly bottle it in brown glass so it doesn't go 'skunky' through exposure to light. This is a fairly strong brew at 8.19% (I admire their accuracy and attention to detail) and has a deliciously smooth vanilla aftertaste. It's very full-bodied and rich, described by the manufacturer as a 'sipping beer' — although it would be easy to knock back a couple!  I seem to be finding some really good beers at the moment, and this is one of the best. If you like your beers malty, smooth and full of flavor, give 'er a try. Highly Recommended.
