Brouwerij De Molen Amarillo

Here's another from Brouwerij De Molen. With a name like Amarillo you *know* it's going to have a hop thing going on and indeed the very first thing you notice about this beer is a fantastic citrus-like hop aroma. This is probably because this 9.2% ale is dry-hopped, and it tastes very hoppy too, but actually not really bitter, about which I'm very pleased. This is one hop-forward ale that I could drink regularly because those Dutch guys have got it just right. :-) It's smooth and clean on the palate with moderate carbonation and good body leading to a full mouth feel. With a slightly cloudy amber colour, tart citrus flavour and strong hop finish, this is an enjoyable beer. Recommended.
