Mill Street Brewery 100th Meridian Organic Amber Lager

Maybe I'm having something of a lager epiphany, but this offering from Mill Street (makers of a superb vanilla porter) counts as three for three. Yes, this is the third lager I've tried recently that I've really enjoyed. It's reminiscent of both the Tusker lager that I tried a week or so ago, and the Bowen Island Westcoast lager that absolutely blew my lid off a couple of months back. This 5% brew has plenty of good malt flavour and a fine, golden amber hue. Good hop balance and satisfying finish give a beer which is great in the winter but will be absolutely dynamite in the summer. I also got to try it from the keg here in town at Congress Beer House and it was even more gooderer.  ;-)  Count me a fan! Highly Recommended.
